These were all taken at Joshua Tree National Park in the desert of California.
Monthly Archives: March 2011 I was at Joshua Tree National Park yesterday and got a shot of these little dry looking flowers growing in the middle of the desert. It caught my attention because it looked like the two in the front were leaning towards each other, almost like they’re hugging. Life is more meaningful when we show care… 2 comments 
Aw, you found cuddling wildflowers, we all need something/one to lean on. I want to see more please – more photos, more affectionate wildflowers might be a tough request. 
Beautiful shot, I love pictures with just one focus and all blurry in the background. Amazingly, I never manage to do it…  I’m sitting here in front of my computer gathering photos for my next blog post. I got sidetracked and started looking through some archives. We’re so fortunate to live in such a climate where you could take a great shot like that and we wouldn’t know the time of year it was – unless you told us. Blue skies and a sweeping (dreaming) breeze… I’ll take it!

Beautiful pics. We’ve gone climbing in Jtree quite a few times but have never paid much attention to the desert flowers. Feeling a little guilty now – they’re so pretty.
We just got back from Joshua Tree so I loved seeing all your photos. I was shocked by how many different types of flowers and buds we saw. Great photos!
