IMAGINING COSTA RICA

It was my first time there. I had imagined luscious jungles, howling monkeys, and cascading waterfalls. These images were ingrained in my head because they were the only photos I had seen from friends’ previous travels to Costa Rica. Excellent pics as usual… and, you *can* just catch a glimpse of a monkey in the bell tower of the church. You know, if you look really, really close… you silly girl!

JETBLUE – ALL YOU CAN JET

Where are you going . . . ? Definitely skip the tour and see the sights yourself . . . . Pack light . . . . How many countries have you traveled to . . . ? The local food is to die for . . . . We should meet up . ….

It was great meeting a lot of you too. And if you love the spirit of connecting with people from all walks of life, who share the same wanderlust and kindred sense of connecting with other travelers, I’d highly recommend joining Couchsurfing.org. You can connect with people from around the world all year long, not just once a year for AYCJ! Every city has a friendly local group that is always organizing regular meetups just like the one Yanny did in OC.

Thanks for posting these Michelle! Another cool way to recall that fantastic period of time. I can’t stop raving about it to most everyone I meet. [Love it when they ask me what I've been up to, even after this amount of time.]

Totally diggin’ on Richard’s pose.

Thank you for posting the pictures of the AYCJ travelers. Everyone looks so happy from travelling even though I’m sure people were exhausted. Do you have a photo of the final group picture of the AYCJ travelers before we all took our last flight in New York?

WINDOW SEAT PLEASE

It’s a must. I’ll take a window seat please. If I had to choose between an aisle in first class or a window in the back of the plane, I’ll take the window seat please. It’s a must. You see, if I sat in the middle or the aisle, my seat neighbors may not appreciate…

You have a wonderful knack for helping me see things in your photos that I wouldn’t even notice in real life. Many times I feel like I can reach out and touch what you’ve photographed, they are so crisp and clear. I LOVE to see your work…it’s very inspiring!

Look forward to more blog posts and photos in the future!
